Trying to be back! ♡

Hey little faeries!

I'm soo sorry for not posting in the last couple of months again! ;3;

I've been very busy with university and work and stuff like that and haven't felt like I could actually post something interesting for you guys.
Nothing special happened this year unfortunately so there wasn't anything big to write about..

But now I planned to change everything and make my life more fun! x3

Some big changes have lead me to this point where I decided that I don't want to live the way I used to live. Right now I can't really talk about those things, but maybe I will some day.

The facts about my life right now are:

I'm student for Japan Studies
started an online course in Nutrition Coaching
Going to be more active on my YouTube channel
planning to have fun with lots of friends
planning to experience all kind of new things
broke as f*ck
looking for a job
going to realize my dreams about myself
and generally to have fun! ♡

My wish is to be happy (or happier at least) and so I'm planning to work hard for those things and I hope I'll meet a bunch of new people due my journey ♡

Update: My vegetarian Lifestyle! ♡

Hey little faeries! ♡

End of January this year I wrote you a post about my vegetarian/pescetarian lifestyle in which I explained what I eat and what I avoid.
If you missed it or wanna re-read it, klink this link My vegetarian Lifestyle

After that, I had my so called "semi-vegan February" where I tried to eat vegan for the simple reason to feel better with my body.
(Semi-vegan for February)

In that "vegan-month" I learned to  love cooking and food even more than I already did before. I became much more creative and really appreciated the feeling the "clean foods"/vegetables and stuff gave me due that time.
(you can also re-read my conclusion about my experiences)

Since then, I tried to have more clean and vegan meals and so my eating habbits changed a little more!

It is very hard to think about all the things, so I may forgot something, but I tried my best!

As for food:
♡ still eat fish from time to time but it got a lot less!;  but I still call myself 'pescetarian' more often than saying 'vegetarian'; when I eat fish, I mostly  eat salmon or prawns if I do

× obviously I don't eat meat

♡ I do eat several meat substitutes (I may do a post about them)

♡ I do eat eggs

~ I do drink even less cow milk than before, but I still eat things, which include milk

~ as for my cheese addiction: I replaced most of my cheese slices for breakfast aswell as the cheese I put on my pizza and pasta with vegan cheese substitutes; I'm only eating real cheese as a snack now

× I try to avoid sweets with animal gelatin in it

~ I don't drink many juices, but I try to avoid drinking those cleared with gelatin. But when I really want to try something, I'd still drink it when gelatin is in it

♡ I do love Tofu! But unfortunately I don't eat it that often.. but I try!

♡ I eat honey, and always will since honey is one of the most healthiest things in this world

As for clothes and cosmetics:
× when I shop for cosmetics, I only buy from companies that claim to be cruelty free (all cosmetic products I still have from former times, I use up, and replace them with cruelty free ones, when I have to buy something)

~ when I buy new cosmetics when I used up my stuff, I try out products, that are vegan

♡ I do have some more apps, to get an overview about products that are cruelty free

♡ my hair dresser is a flagship salon of Paul Mitchell (which is a cruelty free brand)

× I don't buy clothes which include sheep wool or angora

×  in winter, I also don't buy coats/jackets with any sort of fur trim, since there was the scandal about several animal hair types claimed to be fake fur; also I look for ones without down feathers

Others:
~ I may have taken or currently take medicine which may be tested on animals, but my point of view is: I could have died already without medicine, so I try to help stop animal cruelty due my lifetime, which is given to me du those medicines

There are many other things in life, which can be replaced with a vegetarian/cruelty free alternative, such as pillows, furniture, household cleansers, and all those household things in general. But I'm not at this point in life yet, cause I still live with my parents and they won't change a thing for that ~

♡ = I do eat/use/like/support
~ = use sometimes/trying to avoid, but not fighting for it/I'm in conflict

Conclusion: semi-vegan for one month ♡

Hey little faeries!

It's been a week now already since my semi-vegan project stopped, but I really had no free time to write this post yet, sorry!!

But now I want to show or mainly tell you, what products I ate, how I felt, what changed, how I felt now being normal vegetarian again and what I what to keep in my diet

First of all, I want to tell you, that I've lost nearly 3kg weight! And I didn't even do any sports much.
Normally I go to the gym every second day a week, but this month I was at the gym like 2 or 3 times only.

So, I told you in my annoucement what I'm cutting out of my diet and what I planned to eat that month.
I told you, that I want to eat much more fruits and vegetables and cut out as many 'processed foods' as possible.
In the first 1-2 weeks I felt okay with that decision, but with time I had no more ideas what to eat and I ate a lot of it day by day, again and again (like e.g. the alpro soy yogurts)
So after a time, I ate some cold cuts again and vegan cheese substitutes and in the end I also ate a lot of white breads..

I don't know if I made any mistakes when choosing a product, maybe there were products that actually weren't vegan, but there were definitly vegetarian.
The products (or the package of the products) you see in the picture above are the products I ate a lot and very often. Of course that's not all I ate, but the things with which I replaced the non-vegan foods.

I definitly ate way less, than before, since I was kinda limited in some things, such as sweets.
I really saw that when the month was over, imidiately I started to eat some sweets that I was craving for

Craving is another thing I really want to talk about.

To me, one of the hardest things were not to eat cheese. I love cheese and I always eat cheese! When I first tried the daiya cheddar style slices I hated it so bad! But I kept eating them, since there were very expensive over here, and I really wanted to try it anyway! In the end, I was so used to the taste and the texture, that I was sad, when I ate the last slice.

Also I craved a lot of sweets, especially milk chocolates and kinda jelly sweets (?), but I knew they're definitly not vegan.

I craved a lot of things and I was so happy, when the month was over, so that I could eat all those things!

In the whole I have to say, physically I never felt as good as I did due this vegan month!
I was full of energy and felt very clean and had a whole new body feeling!
I also didn't have a bloated belly anymore, which I have ALWAYS! normally..

Shortly after, I already realized that my body reacts on the 'non-vegan' foods and diet, so now I have a bloated belly again, feeling sick (I became sick anyway, but I was already sick when vegan), my metablolism slowed down a lot too and I hate that I don't feel as clean as before..

So my conclusion:

I really liked doing this, even though it was kinda hard for the first time.
Maybe I'm going to do this again some time, but I know that I'll not become vegan for the 'rest of my life' (never say never, but you know..)

I decided that I want to keep some of the foods I found due this time in my diet, cause I really liked some of them very much!

I also decided that I want to cook much more fresh vegan foods for dinner for example!

What I can say right now is, that I don't even feel any need to eat any meat substitutes that regulary as I did before that month. I replaced them with some veggies already for some meals I had since then.

I hope to be able to stop my 'new' bad eating habits soon,
to feel as good as I felt due this vegan month and that I'll be able to keep some of those things in my diet anyway ♡

Food Diary ♡ Valentines Day~2 years anniversary ♡

Hey little faeries! ♡

I decided to make a seperate blogpost for this Food Diary, since that is exactly why I decided not to be strictly vegan, but semi-vegan for February ~

I didn't want to be stressed for that day, since it was my 2 years anniversary with my boyfriend, and I decided to leave the restaurant things to him, cause I had to study a lot that month.

pretty basic and boring breakfast - a bun with Hummus and Veggie slices

I didn't ate anything through the day because I filmed a long getting ready video for my Valentines look and was very stressed and nervous, since my parents also had friends over and such.

Later my boyfriend came over to get me.
He actually was so extremly nice and looked for a vegan restaurant too!
But we decided to go to my favorite italian restaurant instead, where we had our dinner two years ago, the day we became a couple ♡
I had homemade pasta with a cherrytomatoe sauce and shrimps and scampis in it, so it was pescetarian again, as normal for me

and we shared a tiramisu as dessert ♡

You see? This would have been way less romantic and much more stressful when I would have said, that I'm strictly vegan that month ~
I don't say it's impossible to eat out romantic when being vegan, but for me it was just not the right time to do so..
